The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has felicitated with Muslim faithful in celebration of the 2024 Eid-El-Kabir, charging them on the need to trust in God and keep hope alive for a better future.

In a statement signed by the Lagos State PDP Publicity Secretary Hon. Hakeem Amode lagosians were admonished not to loose hope in a better future in the face of the current harsh realities

“As we celebrate this year, we implore all the residents of Lagos State to remember the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim as he went to worship the Almighty Allah.

“A period like this calls for reflection on what binds us together and the need to show love, compassion, and support for one another. The Islamic religion preaches togetherness and the value of communal living.

Amode appraised the current harsh economic situation which had translated into high standard of living adding that there is light after the tunnel.

“There is no doubt that we are all passing through a challenging period economically, but as a party, the PDP believes that the best is yet to come for the state.

“The Eid-El-Kabir period is an auspicious time for all of us to renew our hope as a people and to continue to trust the Almighty Allah for all that we require.

“The Lagos State PDP will continue to identify with the people of the state and we want to praise the endurance of our people, who have continued to expect a better tomorrow.”
