Despite the harsh economic realities that prevailed all through the year 2023, the former Executive Director of the Lagos International Tradefair Complex Management Board Dame (Chief) Mrs. Lucy Ajayi has revealed why the annual Christmas Carol must hold in her abode.

According to Chief Lucy Ajayi this marks the sixth edition and it is for her a season of love when she normally throw her gates opened to all in consonance with her husband Chief Foley Ajayi to fete every attendees with sumptuous meals thereby putting smiles on people’s faces.

When asked about the secret of her consistency and the ever increasing number of participants at the carol night gathering, Chief Mrs. Ajayi stated that Jesus Christ who is the reason for the season has always been the source of her provision and not minding the situation of the country she will ensure the joy is shared.

She however, urged well meaning individuals to help the society by sharing love around them especially with the less privileged.

The yuletide event witnessed clear rendition of the nine lessons of the night as the Christmas carol service officiated by cleric from Diocese of Lagos West (Anglican Communion) Opebi Archdeaconry.
