US Court Hears Suits Filed By Several Nigerian Victims Over Alleged $300,000 Property Scam by Joseph Nantomah

A United States court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has opened cases investigating allegations of a property scam to allow several Nigerians reclaim their funds, according to court filings.

The Wisconsin Circuit Court in Milwaukee, opened the cases including Olayinka Nnochiri vs. Investors Capital LLC et al, Joseph Alfred Olusanya et al vs. Investors Capital LLC et al, and Joseph Chioma Onwukeme vs. Global Investors Capital LLC et al.

The cases including, 2024CV003283, 2024CV001490 and 2024CV002659 among others were filed on April 1 and April 22, 2024, before the court.

An African real estate investor, Dr. Joseph Nantomah, popularly known as Black Mentor, was alleged to have cornered over $300,000 from clients who made payments to his real estate investment group.

A Nigerian US-based resident of New York, Oluwafemi Adeosun, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Nantomah after he allegedly accepted a payment of $80,000 to flip a home in Slinger.

After this first payment agreement, Adeosun also entered into a second investment with Nantomah and paid him another $45,000.

Another Nigerian-US-based resident, Chimkame Ibe, a Texas resident, also accused Nantomah of a breach of contract lawsuit against Black Mentor last month.
She allegedly paid into an investor account $100,000 to flip the aforementioned property in Slinger.

According to the client, she entered into a second investment agreement with Black Mentor via the messaging app Whatsapp, paying an additional $15,000.

Also, a couple, Noral Anyanwu and Emmanuel Anyanwu, residents of Illinois, allegedly paid Nantomah $100,000 for investment property.

Meanwhile, the trio of client-victims of Nigerians-US based have filed a case against Nantomah at the Wisconsin circuit court, Milwaukee USA.

“We are more than 15 persons who already sued him both in state court and federal court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In fact, most of us already spoke with and were interviewed by USA (SEC) Security and exchange commission,” one of the victims told SaharaReporters on Wednesday.
