- Fountain of Glory Parish holds Thanksgiving service, Sunday, in honour of the selfless, silent philanthropist
Close family members, community leaders and a few associates for few hours abandoned their busy schedules to celebrate the charming and affable Olajide Adeyemo, who turned 60, on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
They all gathered at his secluded palatial home, to give the celebrator, a silent philanthropist, and humanist, who had thought he could have a private, solemn celebration in line with the mood of the nation, a surprise birthday bash.
Unknown to the birthday boy, his siblings, led by one of his sisters, Mrs Romoke Aderibigbe, had ensured that a close circle of associates and friends, had joined his immediate family to celebrate with the celebrator.
She was supported by her elder brother, Mr. Moses Adeyemo, Mrs. Modupeola Abiola, Mrs. Omoyemi Olajugbagbe and Mrs Bolanle Sennaike, who are all siblings of the celebrator. They had gathered with their families to celebrate their elder brother who they fondly call, Olori Ebi. (Family Head).

Judah celebrated his grand dad’s landmark age with a beautiful cake.
Oral poet, EwiBisi added colour to the event as she chanted the family Oriki, the Yoruba oral praise song to the admiration of all.
Senior Pastor of His Mercy Sanctuary Pastor Shadrack led a session of Christian prayers for the celebrant while Chairman of Harmony Estate CDA, Alhaji (Engr) Isa Egbeyemi who was accompanied by his wife, led the session of Muslim prayers for the celebrant.
