Christmas Celebrations: Otunba Segun Adewale doles out N10m cash gift, mobile phones to party supporters, interest groups across Lagos West

Many residents including interest groups and socio-cultural organization across Lagos West Senatorial District had reason to look forward to a joyous Christmas despite the harsh economic condition in the country as the PDP Senatorial Candidate, Otunba Segun Adewale (Aeroland) brought smiles to their faces.

It was a moment of joy, ecstasy and surprise as thousands of party faithfuls benefited from cash donation totalling N10 million while thousands of Segun Adewale Campaign Organization (SACO) coordinators also got mobile phones from the PDP Senatorial Candidate across Lagos West.

At Agege, many party faithfuls thronged the party secretariat to partake of Adewale’s largesse. The crowd who came to welcome the PDP Lagos West Senatorial Candidate became ecstatic when Adewale announced a cash donation as stipend for their Christmas celebrations.

In a similar vein, phones were also distributed to thousands of Segun Adewale Campaign Organization (SACO) coordinators in the Local Government.

At Ifako Ijaye, Adewale made the same cash donation to party faithfuls and phones to SACO members. In a related development, Aeroland made frantic effort to resolve the post-primary crisis as he met with a strong contender during the primary, Alhaja Idera Shodipo.. He reiterated the need for all parties to work together and put behind all squabbles ahead of the elections next year.

At Mushin, He met with the party faithfuls led by the chairman of the Segun Adewale Campaign Organization (SACO) Chief Abayomi Kuye. A cash donation was also made to help members towards the celebration of Christmas.

The SACO campaign train also visited Oshodi/Isolo where similar exercise of cash donation and phones distribution to party faithfuls was carried out.

Thereafter, he met with several independent campaign groups championing the cause of his aspiration. At Ejigbo, an Awori Indigenous socio-cultural group,Oye Olorun Club, hosted Adewale. The group was joined by Lagos PDP Vice Chairman, Chief Sunday Olaifa, LAHA Candidate( Oshodi/Isolo 2( Saheed Aregbe) and other party faithfuls.

While expressing their desire to commit to the Aero 2023 project, they noted that Adewale’s gesture to visit them was unprecedented in the history of politics in the state. They described Adewale as a down to earth person who has the interest of the masses at heart irrespective of tribe, religion, creed or belief.

Reiterating his reason for the financial incentives and gift of mobile phones to SACO coordinators, Otunba Adewale noted his desire to galvanize the party ahead of the general elections. He added that his resolve at to mobilize at least 65% of PDP members would guarantee victory for him and other party candidates at the election. He further restated his priority to bring unity to the party before going to the general election in 2023.

Otunba Segun Adewale thanked the group for the honour. A cash donation was announced to support the lofty programmes of the group.
